President Bio Issues Strong Warning Against Breaching National Security

President Bio, while addressing the Kissy Tongi Chiefdom in Kailahun District during his campaign, emphasized the importance of safeguarding national security and preventing any potential threats.

Expressing deep emotions rooted in the memories of Sierra Leoneans' suffering during the prolonged civil war, President Bio, as the Commander in Chief and Head of State, underscored his commitment to upholding the country's constitution and ensuring the peace and security of its people. He made it clear that his administration has acted within the confines of the law and will not tolerate any illegal activities.

Acknowledging Ernest Bai Koroma's status as a Former Head of State, President Bio affirmed that he has allowed him to enjoy the privileges associated with that position, but warned that if Koroma chooses to disrupt the peace of Sierra Leone, he will be stripped of all respect and face the full force of the law.

President Bio also called upon Samura Kamara to assert his independence, cautioning that failure to do so would result in heightened security measures. He emphasized that peace and stability are of utmost importance, patiently waiting for the expiration of the ultimatum imposed by the APC leadership.

Referring to the recent political statements made by Ernest Koroma and Samura Kamara, President Bio dismissed them as meaningless and baseless rhetoric.
