New Tourist Attraction Under Construction in Sierra Leone

The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, with funding from the World Bank, is leading the development of a new tourist attraction in Sierra Leone. Currently under construction, the site is expected to boost local tourism by offering visitors panoramic 180-degree views of the city from an observation deck and relaxation area.

Upon completion, the facility will host small events and meetings, providing a vibrant venue for gatherings. It will also feature a restaurant, a gift shop, and a lounge area, giving guest
s an opportunity to enjoy leisure, dining, and shopping experiences all in one scenic location.

Officials say the project is part of broader efforts to strengthen the country’s tourism sector and showcase Sierra Leone’s growing urban appeal.
